Thomas Telford Deck
Thomas Telford is regarded as one of Scotland’s finest engineers and built many of the roads and bridges you may see on your Scottish travels. The Thomas Telford Deck hosts the Sir Walter Scott Lounge and Bar, the David Livingstone Lounge and Library. Two viewing terraces are located forward and aft of the ship.
Sir Walter Scott Lounge
For smaller, intimate gatherings, the Sir Walter Scott lounge is ideal. With stunning panoramic views, nothing will be missed and there is always something to talk about. The lounge sits at the front of the ship, with the bar nearby.
The cruise on the Lord of the Glens was wonderful. The ship, staff and itinerary were all fantastic. We had a remarkable time and everyone in the group would travel on the ship again in a minute. Our group loved the Lord of the Glens and I look forward to working with you again in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful cruise.
David Livingstone Lounge and Library
Aft of the ship is the David Livingstone Lounge and Library. Great for quiet contemplation and appreciation of the landscape. Additionally, a small library offers a small selection of varied reading material.
Delightful Appeal
The public rooms on board Lord of the Glens boast traditional decor. Light fittings are from the Nord Norge whilst seating includes 1929 ‘Riviera’ armchairs from the legendary ‘Cote d’Azur’ Express – a famous luxury train that worked throughout the 1930s in France.
